CMS is aware of the CEM edits that are causing plans’ files to reject and is working to correct the problem. Because of this, CMS is suspending the Encounter Data Front End testing until October 6th at which time plans can resume test file submission.
In addition, CMS is extending the Encounter Data Front End and Processing and Pricing testing dates to the Encounter Data implementation date of January 3, 2012.
